Dr Kaminski completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Flinders University of South Australia in 1996.
He developed an interest in oncology whilst working in Western Australia and undertook rotations in Medical Oncology, Haematology and Palliative medicine prior to commencing training in radiation oncology.

- Skin Cancer
Dr Kaminski has been involved in research projects in the fields of brachytherapy, molecular profiling, and treatment related toxicity. He spent part of 2007 as a Visiting Fellow in London, England, Paris, France, and Toronto, Canada.
