Dr David Cross commenced practice in 1994 and he is one of the longest serving members of HeartCare Partners. He has a special clinical interest in pulmonary hypertension and heart failure. His practice includes clinical consultation, echocardiography, and cardiac catheterisation with a particular interest in right heart catheterisation.
He also has a long standing commitment to cardiovascular research, particularly clinical trials. He chairs the GenesisCare Cardiology clinical research unit and has been a principal investigator in numerous important clinical studies over the past 25 years. He has also had a long term relationship with Wesley Medical Research and currently chairs their Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery Research Committee.
He is a senior visiting cardiologist at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and has regular consultation lists Westside Private Hospital in Taringa.
