Dr Masa Kudo is a Respiratory and Sleep Physician. He is a graduate of University of Queensland. Dr Kudo completed dual training in Respiratory medicine and General medicine at the Prince Charles Hospital and the Mater Hospital. He then completed fellowship in Sleep medicine at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Dr Kudo has an interest in looking after patients with undifferentiated problem and complex medical needs.
He also has expertise in managing wide range of respiratory and sleep disorders including asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, bronchiectasis, lung cancer and sleep apnoea.

Dr Kudo’s clinic is located at the Respirologist facility at Westside Private Hospital, Taringa. This is a new, state-of-the-art facility fully equipped to provide comprehensive diagnostics including a respiratory and sleep laboratory.
He also offers rapid-access consultations for
- Respiratory problems – e.g. dyspnoea, cough, suspected malignancy, uncontrolled asthma or COPD
- Sleep disorders suspected or confirmed – e.g. daytime sleepiness, sleep apnoea, insomnia and restless legs
- Assessment of undifferentiated problem – “diagnostic dilemma”
- Assessment and management of complex medical problems/multisystem disorders
