Priority Access to Gastroenterologists

Waiting for a gastrointestinal evaluation can be stressful, which is why Westside Private offers a Rapid Access Endoscopy service. This streamlined pathway allows eligible patients to undergo an endoscopic procedure without the need for an initial specialist consultation, ensuring timely diagnosis and treatment.

Patients with urgent digestive concerns—such as a positive faecal occult blood test (FOBT), unexplained abdominal pain, or persistent digestive issues—can have their procedure performed within 14 days. With priority access to our leading gastroenterologists, patients receive expert care, fast results, and ongoing support in collaboration with their GP.

Alternatively, your GP can refer you to a gastroenterologist of your choice. Based on the initial assessment, your specialist may recommend further treatment. If any abnormalities are detected, our on-site colorectal surgeon is available to manage your care.
