Dr. Jazlyn Read is a highly skilled Dermatologist and a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. She is accredited to perform Mohs Micrographic Surgery, a specialized procedure for treating skin cancers with precision and minimal scarring.
Dr Read graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2009, and a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery in 2013. She completed her residency at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, and then developed her surgical skills as a Plastic Surgery registrar in South Africa in 2016, and as a Plastic Surgery Principal House Officer in Queensland in 2017 and 2018. She completed her Dermatology training in Queensland, and pursued further subspecialty training to earn a Fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery in April 2024.
Dr. Read is dedicated to providing comprehensive skin cancer assessment and treatment, particularly for facial skin cancers. She collaborates closely with local General Practitioners, Dermatologists, and Surgeons to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Dr Jazlyn Read welcomes both insured and self-insured referrals.
