Dr Stewart understands the critical importance of your vision and the comfort of your eyes in addition to achieving an excellent aesthetic result from eyelid and adnexal surgery. In treating skin cancers around the eye he partners with some of Brisbane’s best dermatologists, pathologists and radiologists so that you can be confident of getting the best treatment from initial diagnosis to reconstruction.
Dr Stewart completed his general ophthalmology training at Sydney Eye Hospital as well as an additional 2.5 years of subspecialty fellowship training in oculoplastic and adnexal surgery at the Oxford University Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital in the UK. He is an examiner in Anatomy for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists and a Senior Lecturer at Griffith University. He is a visiting medical officer at Royal Brisbane and Womens Hospital and the Gold Coast University Hospital.
