No Gap Joint Replacement Surgery
Westside Private Hospital, in partnership with Medibank, is proud to offer a “no-gap” joint replacement program, providing eligible Medibank members with access to knee, hip, and shoulder replacement surgeries with no out-of-pocket medical expenses. Led by Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. Cameron Cooke, this initiative covers all aspects of the procedure, including pre-admission assessments, surgery, anaesthetist and assistant surgeon fees, hospital accommodation, and necessary diagnostic tests and scans.
This collaboration aims to enhance patient choice and transparency, allowing eligible Medibank members and patients of Westside Private to focus on their recovery without financial concerns.

Rapid Access Endoscopy (Open Access)
Waiting for a gastrointestinal evaluation can be stressful, but Westside Private Hospital’s Rapid Access Endoscopy service ensures pre-qualified patients receive timely care without the need for an initial specialist consultation. Designed for those with urgent digestive concerns, this streamlined approach allows for quicker diagnosis and treatment, ensuring appropriate triage and timely intervention.
Patients experiencing symptoms such as a positive faecal occult blood test (FOBT), unexplained abdominal pain, or persistent digestive issues can have their procedures scheduled within 14 days.* By eliminating unnecessary wait times, Westside Private Hospital provides priority access to highly experienced Gastroenterologists, delivering expert diagnosis, fast results, and coordinated follow-up care with referring GPs and specialists.
